Building Control - Request a Site Inspection
NOTICE SUBMITTED UNDER BUILDING REGULATION 15.
Please use this online form to make a request for a site visit. Please note that submission of this form does not constitute confirmation that an inspection will be possible on the requested date and do not give specific times. If you require a time please contact the Building Control direct.
Notification of commencement is to be given at least 48 hours in advance. Notification of inspections 2 - 5(a) 6, 7 & 8 to be given at least 24 hours in advance. Nos. 5(b) and 9 to be given not later than 5 days after the event. In calculating the number of days due, allowance must be made for weekends and Public Holidays, or days appointed for public Thanksgiving or mourning.
FAILURE TO GIVE APPROPRIATE NOTICES RENDERS THE BUILDER LIABLE TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING LEVEL 5 ON THE STANDARD SCALE AND TO A FURTHER FINE NOT EXCEEDING £50 FOR EACH DAY THE DEFAULT CONTINUES AFTER CONVICTION (SECTION 35 BUILDING ACT 1984).

- Address (including postcode) of property to be inspected.

- 1. Commencement
- 2. (a) Excavation for foundations
- 2. (b) Concrete foundation laid
- 3. Oversite concrete
- 4. Damp proof course laid
- 5. (a) Drains ready for inspection
- 5. (b) Drains backfilled, ready for test
- 6. First floor joists
- 7. Routine
- 8. Roof timbers
- 9. Completion
