Our scheme
As a Dudley council tenant or leaseholder you need to arrange your own insurance to cover your furniture, belongings & decorations against fire, theft, vandalism, water damage & other household risks.
This scheme is arranged with Aviva insurance, which is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and can provide cover at an exclusive rate.
Cover costs from as little as:
- £34.32 per year (66 pence per week) for £4,000 worth of cover.
A £50 excess applies to any claim for a mobile phone and all accidental damage claims.
Price includes Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) charged at the appropriate rate.

Cover starts once your application has been accepted. We will then send you a policy booklet and schedule of insurance showing the start date of your cover.
Before you begin please have all your information ready, including how much insurance you need.
You need to complete your application in one session - this will take at least 10 minutes.
